Notes from the President
As we are winding things up with this year’s annual Style Show, our Tour of Homes has not missed a beat. Monthly meetings are already in full-focus, so if you are interested in jumping on board to help please contact Lezlee Liljenburg at lliljenberg@allstate.com or Jane Tecklenburg at tecklenburgjm@yahoo.com. This is a great way to network and meet other ladies in our group as well as business owners in the community. The theme this year is the Tour of Homes goes “Holly” Wood. The tour committee has really stepped up the event this year by offering exclusive limo sponsorships that will include more adverting exposure, and even dinner packages. Sponsors and homeowners get ready we will be calling you soon! One other very important change to the tour this year will be the date. Instead of the first Saturday of December, it will now be held on the first Sunday. The board realized that over the last several years we have found ourselves having a harder time getting enough hostess volunteers to help because of all the events the city has going on Saturday. We have also received a lot of feedback that many of our ladies can’t attend because of Christmas party conflicts. So…we are going to give this a try. Please SAVE THE DATE. SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7TH.
At our April luncheon we introduced you too a very courageous young women, by the name of Teri Roberts. Teri is one of our young Mansfield teens that has been in a huge fight for her life with cancer that has spread to her bones. This month Lezlee is offering everyone that makes a donation to the “Table for Teri” sponsorship table the chance to win a beautiful piece of artwork that she has custom made herself.
